The Consorzio Starsail organizes in period 22-29 June 2013 the third edition of the Cilento Cup, a sailing rally starting from Salerno and cruising along the Cilento Coast, a naturalistic national park lying 20-60 ml south of Salerno.The purpose of the rally is to combine amateur competition with discovery of a territory that reserve to all visitors marvels and satisfaction.

Cilento Coast is a region of spectacular beauty that preserved an uncontaminated wild nature and is included in the M.A.B program of UNESCO. It is representative of the typical Mediterranean flora and fauna. White beaches alternates to high cliffs dominated from ancient towers and hiding bays of clear water. The temperatures are pleasant from April till October.

The program of the rally is organized in a way to allow the crews to sail along the most interesting places of the coast, including the two important natural reserve of Punta Licosa and Infreschi Coast. In every village in the evening you can enjoy the typical cuisine of Cilento and the Mediterranean Diet, inscribed in 2010 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO) and involiving Cilento (Italy), Soria (Spain), Koroni (Greece) and Chefchaouen (Marocco).

Costs

—       charter fee according our actual price list;

—       cleaning and bed linen and towels according our price list;

—       Cilento Cup yacht card: 350 euro/yacht; it includes: three regattas organization, assistance on the sea for the whole week; moorings in the marinas, outboard;

—       Cilento Cup personal card: 50 euro/pax; it includes welcome cocktail, first dinner in Cilento (Sunday evening), final dinner with prizing (Friday in Salerno); 1 x wine and other typical products degustation.

Program

Saturday:

Arrival in Salerno, the main urban center of the region, located in the middle between the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento Coast; check-in; welcome Cocktail; night in Salerno on board.

Sunday:

11.00: depart Salerno to Acciaroli (30 ml). The first race is held. The lenght of the race depend from wind conditions and anyway is organized in a way to reach Acciaroli latest at 7 p.m. Night in the harbour. First social dinner.

Monday:

10.00: depart Acciaroli to Buondormire Bay (14 ml). Located between steep cliffs and lush vegetation, this breathtaking wilderness is accessible only by boat. Lunch and relax in the bay. In the afternoon transfer to the village of Marina di Camerota (5 ml). Marina di Camerota is a nice village, laying just behind the marina. Night free in the village.

Tuesday

In the morning free time in the village or in the nice bay Cala Bianca. In the afternoon regatta in the waters in front of Punta Iscoletti. After the regatta transfer to the picture postcard village of Scario (13 ml). This is considered by many to be the most charming and authentic village along the Cilento Coast.

Wednesday

In the morning depart Scario to the spectacular Infreschi Bay (5 ml). Relax and free time in the bay. In the afternoon transfer to Palinuro (9 ml). Free evening.

Thursday

Depart Palinuro to Casalvelino (11 ml). In the early afternoon the third regatta is held. After the regatta transfer to the village of Casalvelino. Night in the marina

Friday

Return to Salerno, stopping in Ogliastro bay (10 ml) for last swimming and relax. In Salerno check out and in the evening social dinner.

Saturday

Check out. Transfer from the base to the airport.
